Step By Step Popsicle Stick Christmas Tree Craft Instructions:
STEP 1: Grab popsicle sticks to make the base of your popsicle stick tree. I have used ten popsicle sticks, one for the base and nine for the Christmas tree layers.
STEP 2: Trim eight popsicle sticks (one shorter than the other like I have trimmed them from 10 cms to 2cms) so they then can mimic a Christmas tree shape.
STEP 3: Start painting your popsicle sticks. I have used red, blue, and green colors but you can use the color of your choice or the one that your little one likes the most.
STEP 4: Paint each stick individually so that you can decorate each stick in different patterns like polka dots, zigzags, and stripes. You can also paint the Christmas tree trunk or leave it as it is. Let the paint completely dry.
STEP 5: It’s time to decorate your popsicle Christmas tree craft using glitter glue or glitter powder. You can draw zigzag garlands, polka dots for ornaments, and more. Be creative when decorating your Christmas tree ornament craft. Set this aside and let the glitter dry completely.
STEP 6: Lay the tree trunk on a flat surface and start layering the Christmas tree layers (for example the longest one to the shortest starting from 1 inch from the bottom). Maintain a small gap between each craft stick. Let it dry completely to avoid future struggles.
STEP 7: Attach a piece of twine or a ribbon at the back and top of the craft stick Christmas tree craft. Make sure the loop is secure and big enough to hang on a Christmas tree. Let it dry completely.
STEP 8: Check for the final adjustments like dusting off extra glitter powder or glue so that it looks clean and beautiful. If you are not satisfied you can also add more patterns or other decorative elements like pompoms, gemstones, and more.
STEP 9: Finally, your popsicle stick Christmas tree ornament craft is ready to add its charm to your Christmas decorations. Use this as a Christmas tree ornament DIY handmade Christmas gift for your loved ones or display it on your wall or front door as a DIY Christmas hanging.
Tips For DIY Paper Plate Christmas Tree Craft
