- Regular Paper plate
- Black pipe cleaners (8 for legs)
- Googly eyes (2 or more)
- Pink pom-pom
- Glue or tape
- Scissors
- Hole punch (optional)
How To Make Paper Plate Spider Craft For Kids
STEP 1: Gather all your supplies mentioned in the list above.
STEP 2: Now we will start with painting the white paper plate with black paint. (If you already have a black paper plate you are one step ahead.)
When I was a kid, I used to love painting, that’s the reason I have used a white paper plate so that I can paint it black and enjoy painting the paper plate.
STEP 3: Now take 4 pipe cleaners and fold them in half.
By folding them in half, you can make 2 spider legs with one pipe cleaner.
And when you have folded all 4 Piper Cleaner’s legs in half, cut them into 8 equal pieces.
Now fold all 8 pieces in half again and now you have 8 spider legs.
STEP 4: Now we’ve made the spider’s body and legs. Now it’s time to assemble them and make a spider craft out of it.
Using a hole punch, punch 8 holes on the edges of the paper plate (4 holes on each side). In these 8 holes, we are going to insert/stick your spider’s legs carefully.
STEP 5: Stick googly eyes on the paper plate to give your spider some vision and a pink pom-pom to create your spider’s nose.
